Fragrant, floral, a core of red berry fruit aromas, a gentle savoury and dried herb complexity, new barrel toasty qualities and a lovely youthful energy. On the palate - texture and baking spices then fruit touch the palate first with flavours of dark blackcurrant, raspberry and plum and vanilla. An abundance of tannins with a lovely chalky texture, a core of fruit and contrasting acid line. Delicious, fresh, youthful and varietal. Great drinking from mid - late 2022 and through to 2029+
